A Mama’s Sweetest Moment

It was such a sweet moment when Carysse said “mama” for the first time at 10 months. However, the other day, when my 5 yr old heard his sister say mama and then immediately said “mama” for the first time ever, now that was the sweetest moment!

To be a mama is a very sweet gift, but to be called mama by your children is even sweeter! Thank you Jesus for all your sweet blessings!

Praise God! I agree it is such a blessing to be called "mama". I thank God for ALL my children. Those who I did not birth, but yet lovingly call me "Mama G", have a special place in my heart.

Whenever my young children were reaching toward the next developmental milestone, they went through a really difficult time--like frustration at not quite being able to reach what they sensed was out there. I wonder if that's been happening with Christian.

What a thrilling gift. May he love to say the word, as he already loves his Mama.

Caryn,
That has to be the sweetest word! My daughter has apraxia of speech and how I longed for her to say something - anything. What joy when those words come!

I am rejoicing with you!
